It's been a long time. I'm getting back into writing (more about that later) but first let's talk recent progress since becoming un-depressed in November 2024:
1) 7 days a week walking: averaging over 7000 steps per day, nearly 100 consecutive days so far. Walked nearly 16,000 steps on E-day while campaigning for Robin Lennox for MPP! And didn't die. Lol. Feels really good to be this fit again.
2) Re-connecting with friends: have spoken or texted with so many people and am regularly in touch with more than usual.
3) Meditating daily again: and meeting once a month with my little Centering group which has been off and on since 2014. Looking forward to re-starting Taizé at the Ascension in May (2025).
4) Re-invigorating so much at my Kumon centre: every week the centre is going better. Next staff training for new hires coming up in a few weeks. Lots to do in goal setting with all students, next round of follow up meetings with families etc, but bit by bit we are seeing great results! Very exciting.
5) Gearing up for 60th birthday week in Montreal: looking forward to a week with my children and friends culminating with a day with my grandson. I am so pumped about this.
I re-booted my RBG membership and am so looking forward to watching Cootes Paradise and other nature areas cycle through spring, summer, and autumn over the rest of the year.
